FAQ

  • If your vehicle was recently in a collision — even a minor one — or if you’ve replaced parts like the windscreen, there’s a good chance your ADAS sensors are no longer properly aligned.

When sensors are out of place, your vehicle can’t accurately interpret its surroundings. This can lead to serious problems, such as:

    • Braking unexpectedly

    • Swerving to avoid a non-existent obstacle

    • Failing to detect real hazards in time

    • False warnings or no warnings at all

That’s why precise recalibration is critical. It ensures your safety systems respond correctly — protecting you, your passengers, and everyone else on the road.

  • Many modern vehicles now come equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) — even if you’re not aware of it.

Here’s how you can check if your car has ADAS:

    • Check your owner’s manual — ADAS features are often listed under safety or driver assistance sections.

    • Look at your wing mirrors — if they display a warning light when a vehicle is in your blind spot, that’s a sign of ADAS.

    • Look through the windscreen — many ADAS-equipped vehicles have a forward-facing camera behind the rearview mirror.

    • Inspect your bumpers — small black squares or circular sensors on the front and rear bumpers indicate radar or ultrasonic sensors.

If you're unsure, just contact us with your car’s make, model, and year — we’ll let you know if your vehicle is equipped with ADAS.

  • ADAS calibration isn’t based on time or mileage like when servicing a car. Recalibration is required when the vehicle’s sensors may have been realigned. This includes any collisions or minor accident, after a windscreen replacement, body repairs, and more.

  • Unfortunately, no. ADAS are embedded into a car’s design. However, there are aftermarket driver assistance options available, such as:

    • Reverse cameras or parking sensors

    • Blind spot detection kits

    • Dash cams with lane departure alerts

    • Forward collision warning systems
